“Investigating the role of animal physiology on biodiversity patterns in the paleontological record”

The impact of climate on biodiversity throughout the paleontological record can be used to better understand how modern oceans will respond to anthropogenetic climate change. Here, I will discuss the application of modern invertebrate physiology to link trends between climate and biodiversity on geological timescales.
