David Skelly

Frank R. Oastler Professor of Ecology; Director of the Peabody Museum of Natural History; Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

David Skelly is a freshwater ecologist focused on the ways that modified landscapes influence the fates of wildlife species as well as the ways that these species can serve as barometers for the effects that we have on ecosystems. His recent research has revealed that suburbanization can cause abnormal sexual development possibly associated with increases in anthropogenic estrogens.
