Please join the Yale Environmental Dialogue at the Yale School of the Environment on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 5:00-6:00 PM EDT, for an online discussion with Congressman Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.) to discuss his views on climate and environmental issues, including his sponsorship of the Trillion Trees Act; his time at Yale; and his perspective on climate change and nature-based solutions as a forester.

The conversation will be moderated by George Gemelas, graduate student at the Yale School of the Environment and Executive Vice President of Students for Carbon Dividends.

The Hon. Bruce Westerman, United States Congressman from Arkansas’s 4th Congressional District, based in southwestern Arkansas. Congressman Westerman is the only forester in Congress, as well as the only alumnus of the Yale School of the Environment currently seated in Congress. He serves the people of the fourth district of Arkansas, and is the ranking Member of the Committee on Natural Resource. He is an engineer and forester by trade.
