Event description:
On November 9 and 10, Yale Planetary Solutions—the university’s initiative to engage all parts of the Yale ecosystem to imagine, catalyze, and demonstrate impactful solutions to our sustainability challenges—will present the Yale and New Haven Climate Energy Summit. Featuring five events over two days, the Summit will convene Nobel laureates, federal officials, members of the Yale community, and esteemed scholars from around the world to discuss, celebrate, and advance innovative leadership in research and practice climate justice, and novel technologies.
Events will take place across Yale and New Haven.
The line-up will include:
- Yale Clean Energy Conference, the university’s largest annual event to build the clean energy field
- Yale Climate, Environment & Economic Growth Conference to probe questions of a just and equitable energy transition and to recognize the longstanding contributions of Yale to challenging conventional economic growth models leading to the recent Presidential Executive Order on valuing natural systems, and
- An event celebrating the launch of ClimateHaven, the city’s first climate tech incubator.
