The Carbon Containment Lab is a research and educational 501(c)(3) non-profit based in New Haven, Connecticut, spun out of Yale University in 2024.

The team has deep expertise across a number of disciplines: earth and geological science, engineering, economics and finance, social science, and entrepreneurship. We partner and collaborate with expert advisors, partner organizations, and student interns. 

The Carbon Containment Lab’s mission is to develop and support emergent climate solutions by applying scientific, entrepreneurial, and investment expertise.
