Food

Feeding billions through restorative practices.

To enable humans around the globe to access healthy and nutritious food, our agricultural, economic, policy, and logistical systems must optimize across a dizzying array of variables.

Yale’s scholars contribute to solutions through many pathways, including ambitious efforts to drive sustainability in university dining programs and increasing educational opportunities around food and agriculture.

Local efforts are complemented by projects with farther-reaching impacts. We are invested in building an equitable and just agricultural sector that sustains the growing global population, supports workers, and enables the natural world to thrive.

A better agriculture is essential for eliminating hunger and nourishing the planet.
