Prepare to Apply
Proposals for Planetary Solutions Student Funding are solicited in three cycles each academic year. YPS expects to award up to eight grants per year, each up to $500. The next application period will open in August 2026.
Applicants should prepare:
- A budget clearly explaining what the expenses are for, why they are necessary, and any other secured or pending sources of funding
- An explanation of how the initiative relates to the YPS mission and our three main lenses. Read about the lenses in our 2024 Steering Committee Report.
- An overview of the initiative’s potential positive impact
- A summary of how the project supports student leadership
