Research Focus

My research focuses on understanding why organic redox-active molecules degrade and using those insights to design more stable materials for grid-scale redox flow batteries.

Bio

Jason is a PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yale University. His research focuses on using spectroscopy to monitor how organic redox-active molecules store, transform and lose charge over time in flow batteries.

His work aims to identify key degradation mechanisms and use these insights to design more stable grid-scale batteries.

Jason received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College.
