Are you passionate about connecting science and policy? Join the Yale Science Policy Hill Day Program, where students will have the opportunity to engage directly with policymakers in Washington, D.C.
In the spring, the Hill Day Program, organized by the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, is taking a delegation of Yale students to Washington D.C. to meet with Congressional leaders and staff. You’ll provide much-needed expertise to US policymakers addressing various fields of science policy challenges, and you’ll gain the skills, experience, and community to become future leaders in science and technology policy. No prior policy experience necessary.
Participants will learn how science informs decision-making, build advocacy skills through workshops and training sessions, and meet with congressional offices to discuss climate and environmental issues. The Hill Day will take place March 10–12, 2026.
