YPS Seed Grants

YPS oversees a competitive seed grant program that seeks to enable pioneering research and initiatives aligned with our mission. To date, it has supported 66 seed grants, representing projects originating from both faculty and staff across the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and nine professional schools. These grants demonstrate the possibilities of high-risk, high-reward ideas, from exploring the connection between air pollution and cardiovascular health to using paint to mitigate urban heat islands through public murals that raise awareness about climate change in communities.
